Building Operations provides services for:


  • Oversight of the building's electrical, mechanical, plumbing, heating, and cooling systems

  • Requests for repairs, painting, custodial issues, leaks, and temperature complaints

  • Scheduling of all non-departmental classrooms, lecture halls, and public space in the Science Center

  • Management of key and card access, lost-and-found, and pest control for the building

Science Center Lost & Found

There are three lost & found locations within the Science Center:

  • Building Operations, B11, located on the basement level of the Science Center, directly across from the elevators. 

    Items left in the Arcade, in the Greenhouse Cafe, or in the classrooms will be turned in to Building Operations.

  • The Prep Room, located on the basement level. Items left in lecture halls will be taken to the Prep Room.

  • Cabot Science Library, located at the Science Center South Entrance. Items left in the Cabot Science Library will be kept there. Contact: 617-495-5351.

Unclaimed lost & found items at the end of each term are donated to the Office for Sustainability's FreeCycle events.
